Insurance company covered the cost of rental under an accident claim. I had to pay deposit and insurance out of pocket. I never saw a daily rate. Call an insurance person or travel agent for lowest rates. My daughter booked a rental for seven days 6 months in advance for a trip. The rate changed daily with availability of cars. The first booking was six hundred dollars with a five hundred dollar deposit. She did not have a credit card. She later got a rate of three hundred and fifty and the deposit by checking the rates daily online.

I did not rent the car personally but the lady I was with was upset the price was way too high for the economy and by the way the motel 6 on Federal highway is a dump
