The cost covers all shots and spay/neuter.
No the animal control center on kings mountain road IS A KILL SHELTER. They keep for one week then kill them if not adopted or claimed. They want in excess if 100.09 dollars. Thats why i tried there cuz i wanted a companion and thought i could save a life while i was at it. I know the spca does great work and so thats why i wasnt referring to them.
Martinsville SPCA is a No Kill shelter. The costs of adoptions very greatly due to the costs associated with the health care of the animals and the costs of running the facility. Remember thousands of animals need care from minor shots to in depth surgery, and all the animals need to be fed and cleaned every day. They also need blankets, bedding, lights, heat or air conditioning depending on the weather, and so much more. All these things cost money. Every shelter needs volunteers to help but that is not always something they can depend on. The Martinsville SPCA does great work.
