Hey i don't complain. I don't care if they only have one employee. The most important part of it is that they have what you need if not they will get it for you . I've been to other auto parts and they don't even bother to go through the books like in the old days to look up a part and here at Smith auto they do. I believe they are more experienced than any other auto parts.
In my experience, it's difficult to find people that have experience or really have what it takes to learn . A person has to want to be parts counter person in today's world. Pay isn't all that great either.
Sometimes it's busy, but after dealing with them since the 90s I can honestly say if smiths doesn't have it, good luck looking elsewhere. Just my observation over years of dealing with parts stores. Smiths is always my go to place for anything!
Dont know how true this is but I was told they had been bought out by Napa so they be going through a transition.
