The fries are always made fresh they are not preheated like the other fast food places they use vegetable oil and they are not greasy. But you can give them a call if you like.

The fries are freshly made and dont sit in the fryer another 30 seconds. Fries are typically served moments after being pulled from the fryer. You can make special requests at the counter
I do not frequent this location on Grand Avenue, so I do not know. But I would say anytime is the best time to get In-N-Out French fries during business operating hours, cuz I have never had under done fries before?
Their fries are fresh. If you need them crisper, let them know.
Just order them well or crispy. I'd be upset to get food under cooked.
