The user who posted below is incorrect - I double checked with our dental practice manager and NC Medicaid DOES cover root canals for children up to age 21. Please call us if we can be of assistance!
Medicaid does not cover root canals. That is something they are not telling you. The only option if you dont have alot of money with Medicaid is an extraction.
