Is there a way around the landlord thing? I’m very interested in adopting and my landlord gave permission but the problem is he does not answer the phone. I never deal with him directly I deal with his assistant. He is very hard to get ahold of.

Get the assistant to either write a letter on letterhead or agree to be called for verification.

If your lease States no animals then it might be a little hard but if he gave you permission you got to figure out the weight so you don't go over that and that'll give you a good opportunity to adopt a wonderful animal
