I was there for about 45 minutes with friends...enjoyed a cool drink on the patio.
The welcome center isn't that large. It does have a small concession area with the view of Seneca Lake. Absolutely beautiful
Hi Joanna! As Eliazara mentioned it truly depends on what you plan to do with us. If you are simply after tourism information you may only need a short period of time. However if you want to relax and enjoy yourself you for sure could spend all day with us. We do offer a Taste NY market with all things being New York. We do offer food options with outside seating on the lake. There is a trail outside out center than follows to lake and into the canal that goes 7 miles one way. If you have children there is a wonderful playground for them as well.
Visitors seem like they spend a lot of time there. We visit very often and always see travelers sitting eating and drinking at their tables
If I had time I would sample the wonderful selection of New York upstate award winning wines and enjoy a beautiful view. Up staters are some of the most welcoming folks I’ve met. Differently quality time spent in a relaxed atmosphere. Kudos for whoever created this welcome center!
It depends if you're eating there or just stopping to use the bathroom. You can go for a nice walk around the lake as well
