I have a 52" Sanyo (I'm unsure of the year) and the sound has started cutting in and out. It does this whether we're using the built in speakers or external. Any idea what this might cost to fix?

probably not the tv set. reset your cable box. Ok then bring the tv to the shop and we will check it out.

That was my first thought also. I tried that and it didn't help. (There's also another tv wired through the same box. When the one tv is cutting out, the other is not.)
