Since when does anyone tip the one working the drive thru ? 3 times now I've drive through this drive thru ,and asked do you want your change from the girl working the drive thru.

I usually tip the car hop a small amount. They aren't paid very well, and at least they are bringing you the food. I don't think the drive- thru should expect a tip, however.

Car hops yes ,but not while working the drive thru.

Most that work at ANY fast food anymore do not deserve even minimum wage. I've NEVER heard anyone from any restaurant-- drive up or car hop like Sonics ask for a tip.

I used to own a Sonic. Never heard of this. But, if the young lady is being paid minimum wage I can understand her doing this.
