Where does H-E-B source its meat?

H-E-B sources fresh and frozen meats, including Beef, Lamb, Bison, Pork, and Poultry, from meat processors across the USA; however, a large majority of our products are sourced from Texas suppliers/ranchers/farmers. A very small amount of product is sourced from Canada and Mexico, and will be labeled on each package with the correct country of origin.

The butcher is happy to tell where the meat comes from. His answers always me to purchase mostly Texas meats.
