Anyway to know what kind of stones there are? And are they real or fake? Before I throw myself and son in a car and make the 7 hour trip I’d like to know. I told my son he could design a ring for me he wants to do it this way.

Hey!!! I was just in Pigeon Forge last week for vacation. I mined at Goats on the Roof on Weary Rd. You get can get 2 buckets for $20 & I got A LOT of good treasures!!! I did ask about this place while I was at a gift shop & was advised to stay away because they have dyed stones. If you do visit Goats on the Roof, please ride the mountain coaster....so much fun!!!
