No, not a lot of crossover with Carl's Jr. The Habit stared in Goleta (near UCSB) and has a spot in downtown Santa Barbara. They really started franchising in 2009 and have hundreds of places now. The mother location in Goleta does the carmelized onions better than any of the franchises. The albcore burger is heavily. I've also noticed it's not listed on the menu board at some of the franchises so you have to ask for it specifically. Carl's Jr. has cheaper options these days, but Hamburger Habit cooks to order so you can ask for a medium or well done patty, the food's higher quality and the albacore doesn't have an equivalent at any chain.
The Habit opened in Goleta in 1971. For those of you who weren't born at that time. I was born that year and grew up eating those burgers. They are the best burgers in town.
I think you’re thinking of Hardees - that’s the East Coast version.
Best burgers in Goleta..!! Or anywhere else. Carl's Jr sucks...Try the chilli burger thier...not on menu...just ask.. it's awesome...
Definitely not the same as CKE. This location in particular is much more "old school" and more authentic than most fast food. One of my family's favorites👍
nope, totally different.
It's exactly like Carl's Jr, except for the address. The address is completely different. Other than that, same employees and everything.
No. They make the best burgers. And if trying your trying to lower your cholesterol try the albacore sandwich.
No, much better especially at this location.
