IMAX is its own entity that promises extra sound and a large screen with movies often being filmed in that format. ScreenX takes place in a 270° panoramic and uses 3 projectors to artifically extend out the screen onto the walls during action scenes. RPX is Regal's in-house version of IMAX but slightly cheaper and has more focus on the sound, 4DX is a variety of effects including fog, water, thunder and wind effects and most notably the seats shake and move with what's happening in the movie. Hope that helps!

Rocky described the differences perfectly. I personally have now preferred RPX over IMAX as my favorite premium viewing experience. (It also seems like the shrunk down the size of the IMAX screen during the fantastic remodel they did of the cinema). Definitely check it out! Or better yet, check them all out and have fun! They all offer great unique experiences. 👍 Happy watching! 🎬

I prefer the RPX, I think it is a more engaging experience. Someone already nodded that the screen is smaller after the renovation. The 4DFX is tough based on the movie; IT was awesome, some of the more action driven ones are brutal as you just keep getting shaken, and it loses the novelty quick... Or you need a seat belt. It's all a personal preference, try each one.
