It's not only a buffet, but you can order of a menu too. This is a great restaurant.
There are so many types of shellfish in this restaurant, I would say no. It's a tremendous buffet, that does not really have separate areas for fish vs shellfish. I would worry about cross contamination.
Shellfish is on one side of the restaurant there is about four or five fish on the other side of the restaurant I think he would be safe
This place is awesome, but its known for the all you can eat crab. They don't serve you its buffet style. So no I would not suggest he go if hes highly allergic to shellfish
Great place to eat. I will definitely be going back!!
Honestly I wouldn't risk it if it's a health issue. Even if the kitchen was ultra paranoid about cross-contamination all it would take is one kid at the buffet dropping a shrimp into the mac'n cheese or whatever, and your brother would have a bad day.
My friend had a shellfish allergy. We had there and she got country food, had a small reaction. I'm sure they try to avoid it but nothing is perfect
If he is allergic, NO, you should not go to Captain George's.
I would avoid thos place if you have shellfish allergies, lots of moving parts. While the kitchen and staff are probably conscious of allergies, people who eat there may not be and could use a serving spoon from a shellfish dish to pick up a non shellfish item.
No. Though they probably take precautions about cross contamination this is a buffet and things happen.
Small fish selection. A lot of shell fish. A selection of country food.
