Yes
Yes. More of a bar setting now, less family oriented, and seafood is on par with similar venues...if you want fresh and more local seafood, not the best choice. A bit on the pricey side, too. Amos Mosquitoes on AB is priced about the same but a better selection overall. Oddly enough, few of the local restaurants serve fresh local seafood. Most is flash frozen bulk packed stuff of questionable origins. If you want great seafood, best to buy it locally and cook it yourself!
Best place to eat in morehead city
Yes. And they have really done some nice improvements. Plus the oysters are unbelievably good. And Source locally when they're in season. Additionally the coleslaw and potato salad are recipe that's over 50 years old and the desserts Are All Made By Hand by wonderful gentleman who's been there a long time. The fresh fish is sourced from the local Waters and is always fresh and delicious.
We went there twice last week. Around Tuesday evening it was very good and not so busy. Went there Friday evening and it was very busy and it seemed not as good. But overall we enjoyed our meal.
