All the research we did, including the guys at lumber liquidators, said to let it acclimate for 48 h ok urs before you put it down. Hope this helps

I dont know if it is recommended, or necessary. I personally would get it to room temperature before installation. So in my opinion, Yes.

Yes. It's a must. 2 days minimum. Just installed 2400 Sq ft. Let it sit and it went down nice and is very quiet. We bought the cheapest they had.

Not sure about laminate but we bought engineered wood and let in acclimate for 72. hours. The guys at lumber liquidators will steer you right
