Unfortunately we don't participate with insurance directly - we're such a small, private practice, we're considered out of network - however, we are able to provide you with a billing form after your visit so that you can try to submit for reimbursement with your plan (depending on your coverage). We've found that patients with major insurance carriers usually are reimbursed something, but it's always best to check on the coverage of your specific plan.
We give women a bill to submit to their insurance company. Most women who submit these papers get reimbursed $400-800, depending on their insurance, out of network coverage, and their deductible. We want to make our quality abortion care to all women. We have a sliding scale for women who can't afford the price of $1400.
