If they refuse to leave your residence willingly within the time frame that you have already given to them verbally, your next step is to call the police and let them know that he or she is not on your lease and that they refuse to leave willingly after you've already told them that it's time to vacate your property and/or the premises. And the police will quickly be on their way to remove them from your residence if they refuse to go willingly. In addition, you shouldn't use the word "evicting" and/or "eviction" when speaking to them @ all & not when you're talking to the police about the situation either bc they must be "tenants" of yours who would have to be included somewhere on some sort of lease in order for you (or anyone) to actually legally be able to "evict" someone. All you have to do is just tell the police that you simply would like for them to leave with whatever belongings they have & that you no longer want them in your home, in your yard, your driveway, etc
If their belongings, especially clothes, are in your home, it is considered their residence.
