I would go on the Humana website and check is they are in their network.
Insurance coverage per provider is plan specific as is procedure coverage. When contacting Humana, it would best if you asked if both the doctor and type of procedure are covered as well as where your procedure will be taking place. Insurance is tricky to navigate, don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions! Best of luck!
I'm not sure if that particular Dr excepts that but I would call Humana and ask them who is covered in their network. I have bluecross blueshield of La. but it doesn't completely cover and since I'm below poverty level income, I was approved for financial assistance through Ochsner. If you qualify, you can be covered by Ochsner financial assistance program with little to no cost.
