When you bring items in to sell, they give you a percentage of what they will sell the item for. Once an item is priced, they can't change the price on it, because it reflects how much the store paid for it. When they have sales, you get a percentage off of the sticker price. 30% off is a good sale and a couple of times a year, you'll see 40% off or more. I've always found good deals whenever I go. When I sell, I've had the best luck when I ask in advance what they are looking for. They are pretty choosy about what they'll take, which is nice because it means the items there are good quality. Sometimes I'm surprised about what they'll take though, it depends on what's in demand.
We offer 40% of what the retail price we sell it for
