Yes, from the time period around 1830, when it was the Howell Works. It was a company town, so there were forges, houses, stores and a church and school, many still there and accessible. You can purchase fresh baked items at the bakery where everything is still like 1830.

Yes it is. There is a historic village and some really nice trails for biking and walking. There is also a railroad in operation with vintage equipment. Check for hours of operation.
