Why does the Department of labor never answer the phone?? I've been calling for a week and a half and still have spoken with no one except a recording.. I'm trying to file for unemployment. I did the form online. But haven't talked with no one yet..

I don't know why they don't answer the phone but if I was you I would go to the office that's what I did

Please go into the office. If you filed your claim on line you still have to sign a affidavit, and ask about the different programs like WIOA(training through Augusta Tech) and the awesome Job Fairs that are held there. Good Luck in your new career 😊
