No I didn't get an answer as to whether it is or is not a homeless shelter.
Not sure of the exact definition of homeless shelter, but this is a shelter for men. I believe to get entrance into the mission, there is a breathalyzer. The exception is when it is 32 or below - they allow everyone in that needs shelter and protection from the weather and have cots set up in the gym. If you don't do the breathalyzer, i think you just have access to that one room.
