You have to talk to the person who specializes in that area, that's just how it works. I have found this location to be frequently understaffed, but most of the time if I can find a person they are helpful. Also do not expect the staff to know exactly what you need for your project, do a little research ahead of time and if you have questions be specific.
Yes, I had a lady help me who surprisingly knew exactly where an item I needed was. Sometimes in Home Depot I see tons of associates and still struggle to get help!
No one seems to be able to answer question without being referred to three other people. The person that really works in "That department is on break! NO customer service whatsoever.
It depends on the time of day, I suppose. How busy they are. I have usually found that if I am patient, I can get help. I shop there fairly frequently. Not always, but usually get help I need.
