I went to Lidl and bought 12 items. Bought meat, sugar, bread, pasta, fruits, etc. Avg .40 cents less at ALDI on each item. Sugar was the same price. Aldi was much cheaper. I haven't bought anything at Aldi that wasn't good quality. Can't beat their produce and meat.
Bear in mind that most of the items they sell are their private label.... They are all high quality products....and will save you money in the long run
Prices are much better than Food Lion. Prices at Aldi's and Lidl are very similar. This is cheaper and that is alittle more. They both have online sales papers. I compare and shop both they are not that far apart.
They carry a lot of European brands. Their prices are as good or better for items that are similar to the brands Aldi and food lion carry. The bakery is definitely better that both mentioned grocery store.
For their brands (which are great) their prices can't be beat. Don't plan to buy name brands there though they will run about the same or slightly higher than anywhere else. They have cream cheese for 69¢ per block! And they great prices on fancy cheese and butter.
Better than Food Lion on adverage, but about the same as Aldi's
