Taking your temperature takes less than 3 seconds. The great thing about America is you have choices. Don't bash a restaurant because they made a choice (which is their right) to require an extra step to help ensure the safety of their patrons and staff. Not just a Covid tactic but being sick and carrying germs that can spread. The food is always amazing, and worth the extra step!
