I don't see crab legs or lobster on the menu, and also noticed the early closing hours, so is this more like a Captain D fast food place?

Safe Harbor Seafood Restaurant - All questions

Address: 4378 Ocean St #3, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233, USA

Not at all like Captain D's! Fresh seafood right off the boat. There is an actual fish market inside the restaurant. You get in line to order, seat yourself, and they quickly bring your meal to you. You can it fried, grilled or blackened. Quit lookin' at the menu and go!

This is less fast food and more "from sea to plate" dining. While it's awesomely casual, Safe Harbor has some of the most exquisitely tasteful seafood you can imagine.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. Pretty sure this place is why I'll NEVER visit a chain seafood restaurant. The food is literally caught out back lmao nowhere remotely like Captain D

The Mayport location is a fish market with a restaurant attached to it. You can buy whatever seafood you want then have the restaurant cook it if you're planning to eat there. Totally worth the drive.
