Also if you are employed and make less than a certain amount or if you are unemployed you can go down to 201 Calvert Street which is located right directly on the corner of Baltimore and Calvert and go in the DHR building ( which is Department of Health and Rehabilitation ) You'll go to the 15th floor to sign up to apply for State Insurance. The people there will tell you it COULD take up to 30 days BUT that it USUALLY comes WITHIN 5 - 7 BUSINESS DAYS ... (( But from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE you will get it in ABOUT 3 - 4 BUSINESS DAYS )) GOOD LUCK ! ☺
