It is up to you if you would like to apply for a REAL ID; starting October 1st 2021, you will need a REAL ID or another acceptable form of identification to travel or enter a federal building. We would be more than happy to assist you with a REAL ID if you would like! A list of acceptable documents can be found online at www.alaska.gov/dmv or you may call us at 907.269.5551.
If you wish to travel after October 2021 YES you will need to apply for!!! And they have a list of all the paperwork you will need online and at "NEW" office at the south end of the University Center!!!!
