I have a Trader Joe's Mixed Berry Scone Mix. The date on the box is: Best by 09/19/2017. My question is.......with all the hoopla about not using cake mixes and brownie mixes and pancake mixes which are out out date, is it wise to use this one?

Most of the impurities would be baked out anyways so I say yes

I would use it for myself, not to take or serve guests. If it tastes okay I would eat it. The only problem I have had with out dated packaged mixes is the baking powder old & it might come out flat

I would not use it! The properties in the mix might not be fresh for use. I am surprised, i love Trader Joe's..Return it, i am sure they will make things right!!

I wouldn't take a chance. Not worth the price of scones.

I have use pancake mix out of date, but not sure if I would if it had fruit in it.
