I just had Pioneer AVH-2500NEX which does both apple and android put in my Dodge work truck with bluetooth and backup camera. They may still have special on it but it gives you Waze, spotify, DVD, HD radio, etc. Hope that helps👍
Yes, I think they definitely can. Given what they can do, adding Apple CarPlay should be easy and straight forward.
