I have a 1985 f250 and trying to find a motor for it and I don't know if I should stay with a 300c straight six or go with a different motor and i need to get a new hood for my truck and need to get front windshield

Dylan, stay with the straight six if possible, the 300ci engine has been used for decades- not fancy but the mileage alone makes up the difference. If you do change, the V8's will require new mounts maybe transmission and exhaust just for starters. Good luck!

Hey Dylon, when you change motors, lots of things tend to need changed. So I guess it's up to you how much more work you want to do.
