Hello! My family and I will be headed to Balch Park this coming weekend and I was curious to know if there has been a lot of rattle snake encounters?

As a general rule, they don't inhabit higher elevations. Balch Park is 6000+. Anything is possible, but we've never encountered any snakes in the area. Have a great time & make sure you check out Hidden Falls.

I've never seen any and I have been going for 20+ years. But my husband said there are Timber rattlers up in those mountains. (He has never seen any there either. )

We have never ever seen one at all to be honest with you and we will be out there as will this coming weekend as will I hope and pray you guy's enjoy your guy's trip out there..😊
