Do I have to buy wood at Balch Park? Can I bring my own? I am reading conflicting answers. Just want to double check.

Yes, you can bring your own firewood, but check it first. You don't want to introduce non-native insects to the area. We've always been able to collect plenty of deadfall from the area to burn. Hope you have a great time. Balch Park is one of my favorite campsites. Be sure to check out Hidden Falls while you're up there. It's a few miles away along a dirt road, but worth the drive.

Bring your own if you can. You MIGHT get lucky and be able to buy some from the camp host if they have any, but better to bring your own if you can. Be sure to check for any fire restrictions that may be in place.
