I had the same issues with sudden link we are switching to otr hot spot. You can get the modem at Best buy. It's only like 60 bucks a month and you can travel with it.
Sudden link is trash what ever reasoning they give you for it not working or running what you pay for is just bs they are just money grubbers once there is a new internet company out here we will be switching in a heart beat
I'm adding to the concern...we have what we thought was fast internet feed. My husband check the actual speed we were getting and it is half of what we are playing for. Suddenlink said it was because we are at the end of the service line. My thought is why not have some sort of booster so we can all have the speed we are paying for. Wish we had more options I'd leave them in a heartbeat.
My boyfriend insisted that we get the most expensive Internet plan we could get (unlimited 1Gb/sec), only for our Internet to be off at least 50% of the time. I don't live in the middle of nowhere so there is absolutely no excuse! Especially since the customer service on the phone is non-existent! About to switch to another Internet provider.

We have them and it does take some time to get someone to you house, but I think they are get better. I can total see your point sir, I wouldn't want to be without of service.
Call, they will prorate for service being out but you have to call. We've had them years with no issues!
