I would call and explain you'd be going in to buy a map and your husband would like to give you permission to use his card since he can't go in himself.

Call ask before going there.

For a small fee, he could add you as an associate member then you would have a card in your name and getting a map for free at any time would not be an issue at all.

You should be able to, cuz I took my sister's AAA card and got a map it's no problem she just call and explain to them that I'm coming by to pick up a map so he might have to call them and let them know you're coming
