Can you park overnight on ocean trail way? The looking for a spot to stop for the night and planned on going back in the morning. These picnic areas seem like a good spot

It all depends... Overnight parking is allowed in the parking lot adjacent to the south jetty - if you're FISHING. I suppose you could claim your better half was on the jetty trying to rustle up some seafood while you kept things warm at camp...

I don't think so. There's a gate that (I assume) they close at night.
