Yes perfect place to do all of that... fish here all the time. Sometimes you can see manatees here
no problem with the red tide on the beach
there is a lot of fishing done off the jettty. the attached beach is good for swimming.
Yes there are bathing and fishing spots off the jetty rocks
The jetty itself is more for walking right now due to smell and lots of seaweed. But if you stop by before you get out there on the left hand side of seaway drive there's a pull off with bathrooms and a parking lot. It's the intercoastal waters but good place to swim and layout.
We went a week ago and saw a lot of algae. It had a very bad smell too. I think you swim at your own risk.
There is a beach to the far right...as u walk to jetty..not exactly a bathing place ..nice to walk and sight see and fish
