It depends on your status. If you are a casual, or ocean member it a penny a point. If you have elite status the points change. If you spend enough in a 3 month period your status could change. Ocean members get free boarding. Elite gets you free food. And free drink (name brands) when you aren't playing. Points can be spent on food or gift shop.
