Wait staff should at least inform you of last call, esp if you already had bar drinks. That is the standard. Not sure why you would have missed it or the staff goofed. Alcohol is where the money is so they should be on top of that. Call management.
From what I remember they stop serving 15 minutes to closing, so you were probably just on the cusp of last call.
Go earlier next time. They make great margaritas and sangria's.
