Ive been going there for yrs and never had a bad batch. Maybe u just had a spoiled crab.

They have a,different taste bcuz everybody say she put bread crumbs in her butter,which she put on her grabs,which I Do Not like as well.I hope I that helped someone out.

I didn't get crabs. I would call and ask. Also, were they female? Females are usually best for crabs.
