I heard due to the new bridge built the store will be closing? I surely hope this is bogus information because this is my favorite store to shop with anything any angler could ask for if the news is true Surf City has lost a diamond!!

Doug & Cathy Medlen are doing a major renovation due to recent water damage. So with the store being torn half apart to fix water damage. They have decided to upgrade several areas of the store. Should be back up and running by the end of summer.

This isn't true... although the store is still under construction after the storm... hopefully it will be opening by the end of summer

I've been going to Surf City for over 20 years to fish and relax. I really haven't heard, but I think they'll be able to stay open.

We are not closing for good. We actually have a mini ECS in our bait house that opened on wed of last week. Due to the bridge being moved we needed to flip the front to the back and vice Versa. We should reopen by late May or early June. Thanks for all the kind words.
