Ive heard.that it's not safe/healthy to eat fish being caught from shore or pier right now due to the recent hurricane. True? Will we need to catch and release?

How is the crabing in August?

Why would a hurricane make fish not safe to eat. They were fine the day before the storm!

I would catch and release for safety purposes

That is not true ,I fish my whole fish,l fished when the was a hurricane at Holen Beach. The fishing only improved the fish bite. Spots are coming in, you can catch great croaker at nite, black drum, mackerel, if want to catch an release do it, just have fun and it is safe to eat the fish, follow the rules for size and cook the fish. Have a good time fishing
