I know the perception often matches reality. Too many many malnourished people consuming too high carbohydrate foods. Think about starving children in a foreign land being pot-bellied and Americanize it adding a cell phone and streaming videos and you get the idea. The people are ignorant, tired or generationally trapped in a subsisting welfare system wearing worn team jerseys and ill-fitting ugly shorts. The sadness overwhelms me.
