Panic Attacks require a quick response. Usually a 911 call in my case. I usually end up in an emergency room because it feels like a heart attack. My pulse rate increases to around 150 and my heart feels like it's pounding out of my chest and I develop an intense level of fear and tremble uncontrollably. Anxiety sets in and I feel like I'm going to die. Once treated. (usually given a relaxation med). I contact my psychiatrist right away for a probable medication change or dose increase. By then I've calmed down. Do not call Thundermist Health during an episode. They are not an emergency response clinic. You have to call a secretary at the main number and explain what's going on and she then attempts to contact your nurse or doctor. All they can do is ask you to try to calm down. All this takes time and your panic attack continues. You need immediate relief and they can't give it to you. In my case I have a psychiatrist to call and anti anxiety medication.
I've called when I've had a panic attack. THEY ALWAYS HELPED ME IN A CRISIS Except when it comes to the medical issues that I have the care is hit or miss! If you like Doctors with training wheels then this place is ok otherwise find a real doctor
