Looking to play a round or 2 while in the area in late June for 5 nights but already have other cheaper lodging accommodations. I know I can only get a tee time 5 days in advance as a non resort guest. Any idea how likely I am to get a tee time?

There are several decent courses in the Pinehurst vicinity that are not affiliated with the resort.

They have 8 courses so if you are not picky about which course you want, there should not be an issue.
