I had 5 of the XL eggs this morning and every egg had double yolks. What the heck is that? Does that mean they are using some kind of fertility drugs or growth hormones on their chickens?

Twins 🙁

No growth hormones or fertility drugs are ever used on our farm. In fact, no USDA registered poultry farm uses any form of hormones on their birds. When a young flock of hens first begin to lay eggs they have a much higher chance of laying double yolk eggs. We recently had 2 newer flocks come into production. We try to separate out the double yolks, but it can be challenging to get them all. So it's just as James said, you got lucky.

No drugs just a lucky person

What are the odds of all 5 being twins? Really?

I'm not an egg farmer, .... But their phone number is on the box call them and ask !!!! Sounds like you got a bonanza !!! I always found the regs to be of excellent quality !! Are you complaining or are you elated ??? By the way 5 eggs in the morning I don't think it's a good idea I'm not a doctor but I think you're approaching heart attack country !!!
