I purchased a Bosch 4000 table saw because it had dado blades on it and they are definitely too thick for it. What kind of soil do I need to run dado blades

I have had a Bosch 4100 Contractor saw for several years and have used a dado blade many times with it. It needs a 6" dado blade set, a new throat plate and if you want to run a wide dado blade setup, a special washer from Bosch. Using a wide setup dado blade won't work with the regular blade washers on the arbor, they are to thick. But in the manual, it shows the optional washer for the dado blade. Works great.

I would think you would buy the new blade insert for the dado head

You do not use soil with a dado blade set.
