Are there vegetarian options? I know a lot of the vegetables in southern cooking have meat in them.

There are definitely vegetables like mashed potatoes, squash, corn, and other items that didn't have meat in them.

You might have to ask specifically to make sure some bean dishes don't have bacon or that others don't use chicken stock in preparation. Many vegetable and pasta dishes seemed to have no meat. If you do go, the creamed corn is to die for
