Costco has rules stipulating the member has to be present at your time of the purchase. Did you ever think of just having your name added to your father's membership or having the membership transferred to your name?

Have him add you to the membership Each one can have two people

I do sympathize with that, but rules are there for our and their protection. Maybe you can get membership transferred in ur name or get additional membership card, as a member can have 2 cards.
